Drømmeland a well-run Danish chain with stores throughout the country. The bed retailer never stands still and continuously develops new stores, concepts and products. Drømmeland grows to one of the first real bed specialty stores and also has an exceptionally good reputation beyond the borders.
Challenge
A Danish phenomenon is that the catchment areas are disproportionately larger than in Germany, for example. The population is grouped in a few larger cities and is willing to accept longer travel times. Drømmeland wants to achieve a higher skim in their catchment areas and at the same time increase the bon. They want to use targeted campaigns to reach people that the company was previously unable to reach in the catchment areas.
Solution
Drømmeland has a previously untapped trove of data: customer data can be associated with each purchase. With the Sales Manager app, it was possible to narrow down areas where customers live and had contact with historical campaigns. With the help of further data, it was possible to identify so-called areas of interest - areas where Drømmeland has not yet tapped potential. Various areas throughout the country could be targeted both digitally and offline.
Customer benefits
The marketing team was able to use the insights to acquire up to 40% more store visitors, who triggered a higher bon through targeted education campaigns than new customers had previously.

At the same time, the expansion team was able to gain various new insights that help manage a sustainable expansion.
